Check out the work that our founder, Fran Plowright has commissioned and where our logo came from.
Fran Plowright commissioned some work from a group of students from City and Islington College studying an HNC (Higher National Certificate) in Digital & Media Design as part of their coursework.
They created a four part multi media campaign for The School of Logical Progression, which included; designing the SLP logo, making an animated film, some website design, and producing a round table radio discussion for broadcast on City and Islington’s very own radio station CANDI Radio about the opportunities that are out there in the creative industries and what skills and qualities employers are looking for.
The show was presented by CANDI radio’s Irene Priestnal and guests were Steve Ackerman, Managing Director at Somethin’ Else, Fran Plowright and two CANDI Digital and Media Design students, Mary Odesey - who produced the radio segment - and fellow student Lewis who conducted their own survey about how prepared students at City and Islington felt by their courses for getting their dream jobs.
They were also able to put some questions to Steve and get some advice from him and Fran about routes into employment.
